CARUTHERSVILLE -- The investigation continues into a vehicular assault that occurred Wednesday in Caruthersville.
Around 11 a.m., officers responded to 601 East 18th Street in reference to an assault with a motor vehicle, according to a news release issued by City Marshal Chris Riggs.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with Kyisha and Rondreka Ricks, who advised them a female subject had driven by their residence and then stopped in the roadway. As Kyisha Ricks walked toward the end of the driveway, the driver allegedly put her car in reverse and struck Ricks with the tail of the vehicle. The suspect then left the scene, according to the news release.
Charges are pending. No further information was available as of press time.
