SCOTT CITY -- Three of the starters that put together a 19-6 record last season will be back this year for the Scott City Lady Rams.

Leading the pack is junior Class 3, First Team All-Region selection Katie Hogan who last season averaged 16 points, 12 rebounds, five blocks and four assists per game.

Joining Hogan and fellow starters Melanie Lacey and Stacey Heisserer, both seniors, will be Lindsey Ressel, Michaela Cobb and Courtney Bentley as the holdovers from last year's squad.

Those girls along with a mix of newcomers will head into the season looking to avenge last year's early playoff exit when the Lady Rams fell to Charleston 57-55 in the Class, 3 District 1 Tournament semifinals.

"I look to have a great season," new Scott City head coach Ricky Keller said. "We have a hard working group that gets along great."
