Dannenmueller takes over quick and scrappy Rams squad

Wednesday, November 24, 2010

SCOTT CITY -- The Scott City Rams are coming off of a difficult season which saw them undergo a coaching change at the beginning of the season and finish with a 5-17 record.

Enter new coach Mark Dannenmueller who takes over a program that returns three starters and a wealth of quickness.

"We have a lot of shooters and we have very good team speed," Dannenmueller said. "However, we are undersized as a team. We will be very scrappy."

Returning for the Rams is senior guard Justin Modglin and junior guard/forwards Zach Cotner and Landon Robert. Corey Rogers, Alex Eichhorn and Austin Tapley also return from last year's squad.

Dannenmueller will also look to Nathan Arnzen, Tyler Adams, Hunter Cox, Zach Estes, Logan Henson, Ryan Brock, Ryan Fortner and Jesse Sanders to help out this year's team.
