Sikeston ends season 15-12; the best in school history

SIKESTON -- Seven members of the record-setting 2010 version of the Sikeston Bulldogs soccer team recently received post-season honors for the All-District and All-Conference teams.

Hunter Williams and Evan Underwood both were named to the first team, All-Conference squad while Michael Gibson and Tyler Neal were given second team honors. Blake Angle and Josh Bill were put on the honorable mention team.

Williams, Underwood, Bill and Neal were also named to the All-District first team. Gibson, Angle and Chase Baron were named to the second team.

Sikeston finished their season with a 15-12 record, which is the most wins in school history. Their playoff run came to an end at the hands of the Notre Dame Bulldogs in the Class 2, District 1 championship game with a 2-0 loss.
