SIKESTON -- More than 20 million Americans are estimated to be taking over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen and ibuprofen daily, but many often take more than the recommended dose.

Only one in five Americans bothers to read the directions on the label, and one in four takes more than the recommended dose.
