Process for new bridge replacement under way

CHARLESTON -- Mississippi County commissioners have started the process for a federally-funded bridge replacement.

Commissioners signed a consulting service contract with Smith and Co. of Poplar Bluff for the county's next Off-System Bridge Replacement Program project during their regular meeting Thursday.
