Feds are closing program, but county will still get funding

CHARLESTON -- The federal government is shutting down its Emergency Watershed Protection program but Mississippi County should still be able to get its last EWP project completed.

Bids for excavation on just over 20 miles of Ditch 23 and its laterals were opened during the regular County Commission meeting Thursday.
