Delta defeats Shawnee

SHAWNEE, Ill. -- Machela VanGennip scored a team-high 23 points to lead the Bobcats to the road win.

Samantha Bartels and Tori Burton added 15 points apiece for Delta (11-8).

"Tori Burton had seven rebounds in that second half and really played well inside for us," Delta coach Randy White said.

Shawnee dropped to 17-5.
