WARDELL -- The Risco Tigers won their first Tri-County Conference matchup on Thursday defeating North Pemiscot 15-11.
Jordan Pavy picked up the win on the mound while Chris Pavy received the save working the last two innings for the Tigers.
Chris Pavy also led Risco with three hits including two doubles. Caleb McCord and Brandon Bixler added two hits as well.
Risco (1-2) will host the Cooter Wildcats today.

ADVANCE -- The Oran Eagles pounded out 14 hits and breezed by the Advance Hornets on Thursday, 16-0.
Oran's Kody Moore led the Eagles with three hits including a double. Zac Chasteen, Tyler Heuring, Blake Carlyle and Nolan Urhahn all added two hits as well.
Chasteen earned the win on the mound for Oran (2-0) while Advance's Grant Gray received the loss.

PORTAGEVILLE -- The South Pemiscot Bulldogs scored 10 runs in the final three innings and took care of the Portageville Bulldogs 13-5 on Thursday in Portageville.
Hunter Williams led South Pemiscot with three hits. Freshman Logan Carter added two hits including a home run. He also had four RBIs on the day.
Harley Grimes and Trey Roberts chipped in two hits as well.
As a team, South Pemiscot had 14 hits. Portageville collected five.
Portageville was led by Caden Robbins who went 2 for 4 with three RBIs.
South Pemiscot's Ryan Nolen picked up the win on the mound going five innings and giving up five earned runs on five hits. Nolen also struck out six.

CARUTHERSVILLE -- The Kelly Hawks golf team got their inaugural season off to a start Wednesday, taking second place in a tournament against New Madrid County Central, Hayti and Caruthersville.
Shooting 201 as a team in the nine hole contest, the Hawk's effort was led by Dilan Rucker and Josh Roberts who posted scores of 51 and 52 respectively.
Kelly trailed only NMCC who won the event shooting 171 as a team. Next, they will travel back to Caruthersville on Tuesday to take on the home town Tigers and the Bloomfield Wildcats.
