Hallelujah for spring: Concert features 8 pianists

The concerts are scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church, 1307 N. Main St. in Sikeston. Also participating are: Bonnie Stewart, Terry Sapp, Judy Nickell, Nora Fuchs, Judy Henry, Kathy Jackson and Lisa Colbert. Directing the pianists will be Ed Cowan. First United Methodist Church will host the free, weekend musical event

SIKESTON -- The sanctuary of First United Methodist Church will be filled with music Saturday and Sunday as local pianists offer "Hallelujah for Spring," a free musical event. The concerts, featuring eight pianists performing on four grand pianos, begin at 7 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
