SIKESTON -- The Scott County Central Braves improved their season mark to 7-3 Thursday with a 12-2, six inning win over Neelyville.
Trey Johnson led the Braves' 12-hit attack with a 3 for 3 day at the plate. Josh Boese and Kamryn Johnson each added two hits apiece. Both of Boese's hits were doubles.
Dustin Johnson, who also picked up the win going all six innings allowing four hits, added a triple.
Scott Central burst out of the gate with eight runs in the first three innings.
The Braves will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to East Prairie.

CARDWELL -- The Risco Tigers pounded the Southland Rebels on Thursday to the tune of 11 runs and 11 hits in an 11-1 win.
Jordan Pavy led Risco (8-7) at the plate with two home runs and five RBI. Both Luke Bixler and Matt Cummins hit their first-ever home runs as well.
Caleb McCord pitched a complete game giving up three hits.

NEW MADRID -- The New Madrid County Central Lady Eagles escaped the Portageville Lady Bulldogs with a 1-0 win on Thursday in New Madrid behind another stellar pitching performance from Kelly Robey.
NMCC pushed their winning run across in the bottom of the sixth inning when Meredith Stanley roped a double to score Kelly Robey, who walked earlier in the inning.
Robey pitched a perfect game in seven innings of work. She struck out a season-high 19 batters in the process.
NMCC (11-0) will play the Charleston Lady Bluejays on Tuesday.
