Construction OK'd for new DPS building

SIKESTON -- Sikeston will proceed with the construction of a new building for the Sikeston Department of Public Safety.

City Council members voted 6-1 during a special meeting Monday to recommend to the Sikeston Economic Development Corporation accepting a bid of $4,963,560 submitted by Penzel Construction Company of Jackson.
