Back in the fields

What a difference a few days of sunshine makes. Area farmers were busy in their fields, including this one located south of Canalou on Thursday, after several days of sunshine dried out the water-soaked lands. It was a short window of opportunity, however, with rain returning early today. Forecasters say the prospect for more showers will continue with a 50 percent chance of rain on Saturday morning and a 30 percent chance for rain on Sunday and Monday.
