Chaffee sweeps Dexter

CHAFFEE -- Opening up its Sr. Babe Ruth season against the Dexter Bearcats at home on Thursday, Chaffee took both games in a double-header 6-3 and 6-0.

Taking the win in the first game, Connor Scott went five innings and struck out nine while allowing two earned runs on three hits and a walk.

In the second game, Alex Crowe pitched a two walk, two hit, complete game in five innings while striking out five.

Chaffee will now play the Missouri Bulls 15 and under team today at home at 5:30 p.m.
