Flooding has impact on local gardens

SIKESTON -- The recent flooding and heavy rainfall have taken a toll on local gardens and their caretakers' plans for the summer.

But Donna Aufdenberg, horticulture specialist for the University of Missouri Extension's Southeast region, said there's still hope.
