All-district, all-conference teams released

SIKESTON -- Many area all-district and all-conference baseball teams have now been released with several local athletes garnering postseason honors.

Sikeston was well-represented on the Class 4, District 1 baseball team with sophomores Tyler Anderson and Drew Harper as well as junior Luke Keefer earning first team honors. Senior Ross Bohannon, junior Evan Underwood and sophomore Trey Tigart were named as honorable mentions.

Anderson and Keefer were also first team All-SEMO Conference selections along with senior Nathan Rodgers. Bohannon and Harper were named honorable mentions along with juniors Trent McMillan and Evan Underwood.

Dexter sophomore Brad Potts was named to the first team as well while Bearcat sophomores Chase Young and Jordan Miller along with junior Alex Cliff and senior Bryn Hester were also honorable mentions.

Kelly junior Ian Householder was an honorable mention as were senior Collin Ivie, juniors Kyle Harris and Gabe Smith and sophomore Nathan McDaniel, all from New Madrid County Central.

In Class 3, District 1, Young, Miller and Cliff of Dexter were named all-district along with Brett Dirnberger, Jamie Brant and Alex Eichhorn of Scott City.

In Class 2, District 1, Portageville's Caden Robbins was a first team all-district selection while teammate Mason Kellams was an honorable mention.

In Class 2, District 3, Chaffee placed five players on the first team all-district squad with Cody Payne, Jason Cicardi, Jared Walker, Alex Davie and Andrew Dooley all honored along with Kelly's Householder.

Trevor Cannon, Alex Crowe and Andrew Terhune of Chaffee were honorable mentions as was Aaron Grainger of Kelly.
