SIKESTON -- Tears shed as Morehouse parents, teachers and students embraced each other following the Sikeston R-6 Board of Education's decision Wednesday to close their town's elementary school.
"Our kids are losing their homes, their toys, their clothes, and now their school," said a tearful Jason Rudisill, whose children attend Morehouse Elementary.
