Public input sought on disaster recovery

SIKESTON - The public can voice their opinions on how the state can aid them in recovering from recent flooding.

Representative Ellen Brandom, who was appointed to serve on the Interim Committee on Disaster Recovery by House Speaker Steven Tilley, will host a meeting at 1 p.m. June 30 at the Clinton Community Building, 501 Campanella Drive in Sikeston, as part of the Committee's continuing efforts in aiding the affected areas of Missouri and researching how the state can best aid in the immediate recovery process.

Brandom said the committee want the public to share their knowledge and expertise on ways theu best believe the state can help in the rebuilding process.
