PEACH ORCHARD -- A man was found dead early Friday morning in the floodway ditches in Pemiscot County after an apparent all-terrain vehicle accident.
At around 10 p.m. Thursday, Pemiscot County deputies were called to the floodway ditches near Peach Orchard after the family of Larry "Joe" Crafton contacted authorities with concerns, according to a news release issued by Lt. Ryan Holder.
It appeared Crafton may have had an accident on his four-wheeler when it possibly rolled over several times," said Holder. "Crafton was able to make it to the top of the bank where it is believed he collapsed."
Holder noted there is no suspicion of foul play, and investigators believe Crafton died as a result of health-related issues from the crash.
