MARION -- In August, Pepsi Mid-America will celebrate 75 years of business.

On Aug. 6, there will be a concert extravaganza at Rent One Park in Marion, Ill. Employees, customers and friends are invited. Set to begin at 2 p.m., the family-friendly event will feature performers Kellie Pickler, Little Big Town, Gloriana, and Francesca Battistelli, and wrap up with a fireworks show after dark.

"We wanted to do something special for our employees, customers, and communities to celebrate our anniversary because without them, we would never have had the opportunity," said Lee Crisp, President and Chief Operating Officer of Pepsi Mid-America. "This event is really our way of saying thank you to them," he added.

The 75th anniversary will be Wednesday.

"Throughout the last 75 years, Pepsi Mid-America has expanded into five states and now employs over 1,000 people in our local communities," said Christie Mitchell, marketing director of Pepsi Mid-America. "We are very excited to present this incredible lineup to show our appreciation."
