SIKESTON -- Those looking for work should head to the Sikeston Armory now.
The Department of Workforce Development will be at the Armory in Sikeston until 5 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m. Friday
"We have jobs available and are looking for workers to employ," said Maida Coleman with the Missouri Department of Labor. "So of course we would like to get them out here to get hired."
Jobs range from debris removal to rebuilding and restoring counties affected by the spring flooding and tornado disasters, Coleman said.
Salaries are paid by the Disaster Recovery Jobs Program.
"The goal is to get 100 people placed in jobs by Monday," Coleman said.
