Sikeston Standard Democrat: High School Sports: Local runners fare well at Kelly Invitational (09/07/11)

BENTON -- Eight different schools competed in the 2011 Kelly High School Invitational Cross Country meet on Tuesday at Kelly High School.

Coming out on top on the boys side was Oak Ridge's Ethan Seyer with a time of 17:01.

Kelly's Juan Compos finished sixth with an 18:57 time while Dexter's Zach Conner took seventh with a time of 19:09.

Amanda Lappe led the field in the girls group with a time of 22:04.

The Chaffee duo of Lyndsey Statler and Molli McGowan finished sixth and seventh respectively. Statler ended with a time of 22:43 while McGowan finished with a 23:02.
