Dexter officer seriously injured in altercation

DEXTER -- A police officer was seriously injured after an altercation Monday night, leading to the arrest of Dexter man.

Dexter patrolman Kevin Moore was injured while trying to break up a fight on Monday evening.

Austin Mace, 20, is charged with first degree assault of a law enforcement officer for his involvement in injuring the officer. Mace is being held on $250,000 cash only bond.
