Briefly: Scott City pulls away from Chaffee

CHAFFEE -- Pulling away late on an 85 yard kick off return, the Scott City Rams defeated the Chaffee Red Devils 34-20 on Friday.

With his team holding a slim 21-14 lead after Chaffee's Tyson Estes scored on a five yard run with 8:59 to play, Scott City's Zach Cotner took the ensuing kick back 85 yards to pull ahead 28-14.

Following an interception on the Red Devils next drive, the Ram's Travis Phillips scored from 14 yards out to seal the win with 4:08 to play.
