Cotton Ramble bike ride once again highlights Cotton Festival

SIKESTON -- For Sikeston resident Rodney McConnell and his family, the Cotton Ramble bike ride offers a scenic trail and some time for togetherness.

McConnell, his wife and their 28-year-old daughter, Valerie Crader, have participated together in the ride in its first two years, and this year will be no different.

"It's a great activity and full of recreation," McConnell said of the ride that winds through cotton fields.
