Man drowns at Sports Complex

SIKESTON - The Sikeston Department of Public Safety and members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol recovered the body of a 20-year-old man from the lake at the Sikeston Sports Complex at 1:30 a.m. today.

Initial reports indicate the man, whose name was not released pending the notification of relatives, was wading with friends in about 3 to 5 feet of water when he disappeared about sometime after 10 p.m. Thursday.
