Students vow to be drug free

SIKESTON -- Standing united, the 350-plus Southeast Elementary students formed a circle outside their school building Thursday morning, chanting: "I am drug free!" and "Our school is drug free!"

The first through fourth graders kicked off Red Ribbon Week for the district with a schoolwide outdoor assembly which celebrated their pledge to be drug-free.
