SIKESTON - Like all parents Ginger and Gale Wessling believe their son is special. Now they know for a fact: Landon Wessling is one in eight million.
Wessling was recently called on to be a bone marrow donor. Doctors searching the world found the 33-year-old former Sikeston resident was a perfect match for a 19-year-old girl from Spain with leukemia.
The odds for the match, doctors said, is one in eight million.
