Autopsy conducted on Charleston shooting victim

CHARLESTON -- An autopsy was scheduled Wednesday afternoon on a man who was fatally shot while confronting law enforcement officers with a knife.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper C.D. Parrott, public information and education officer, said an autopsy on Murry Lee Asberry, 34, was scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday. Asberry was fatally shot by a Charleston police officer Tuesday afternoon.
