DEXTER -- Altha Louise Ogles, 89, died Nov. 21, 2011, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Born Feb. 2, 1922, in Parma, to the late Grigg and Nora Norwood Woodruff, she was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter and had been an employee of the Elder Manufacturing Company in Dexter for 19 years.
On Feb. 14, 1963, in Little Rock, Ark., she married Floyd Ogles who preceded her in death in October 1966.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Hershal Buchanan, two brothers, Hershal Woodruff and Gratton Woodruff, and two sisters, Beatrice Loraine Caracini and Alma Bagwell.
Survivors include: three daughters, Annette Groves of Jacksonville, Fla., Yvonne Colbert of Dexter and Nora Jo Buchanan of Smithville; one brother, George Woodruff of Dexter; one sister, Ruby Lee Middleton of Phoenix, Ariz.; and eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lighthouse Christian Center with the Rev. Tim Russell officiating.
Burial will follow at the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield.
