SIKESTON -- Retailers in Sikeston assure there will be plenty of specials for Black Friday shoppers -- and in some cases, Thursday shoppers, this year.

Today's Standard Democrat contains pre-Thanksgiving and Black Friday advertisements by many local retailers offering specials on clothing, toys and big-ticket items.
