CHARLESTON -- Mississippi County will get additional time from FEMA to finish some flood recovery work.
"We had four projects we required an extension of time to complete," County Clerk Junior DeLay said during the regular weekly County Commission meeting held Wednesday due to the holiday. "We have been granted the time extensions."
The requests for additional time were submitted to the Federal Emergency Management Agency on Oct. 21, according to DeLay.
