BERNIE -- The Risco Tigers advanced to the finals of the Bernie Invitational with a 68-45 win over Bloomfield on Thursday night.

"We got off to another slow start," said Risco coach Brandon Blankenship. "We went off again in the second quarter like (Wednesday night) against East Prairie."

Risco kept their nine-point advantage into the fourth the quarter when their guard play became too much for the Wildcats, leading to numerous Bloomfield turnovers. For the game the Tigers forced 29 turnovers.
