CHARLESTON -- Beatrice Elizabeth Rolwing, 89, died Dec. 12, 2011, at the Charleston Manor.
Born Sept. 27, 1922, at Pocahontas, Ark., to the late Rufus Luther and Emma Marie Weaver Foster, she had lived most of her life in Charleston where she was the owner and operator of beauty shops and ladies apparel stores. She was a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church, the Charleston Art League and the Charleston Business and Professional Women's Club.
On Jan. 28, 1952, she married William G. Rolwing who preceded her in death on March 6, 1990.
One brother, A.J. Foster, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are: two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Judy Rolwing of Charleston and Kenneth and Helen Rolwing of Washington, Mo.; one brother, Bill Foster of Wildwood, Fla.; and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
