SIKESTON -- Ella Mae Turner, 78, died Dec. 18, 2011, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born May 12, 1933, in Painton, daughter of the late John Henry "Snap" and Elnater Luster Turner, she was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include: three sons, Corlin Turner Jr. and Derrick Turner of Sikeston and Deon Turner of Cape Girardeau; seven daughters and two sons-in-law, Shirley Turner, Bernice Williams, Betty Turner, Lisa and Vince Longstreet, Tammy Turner, Yulonda and Ron Mitchell, all of Sikeston and Regina Turner of Kansas City; three brothers, John Henry Turner of Haywood City, Don Turner of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and David Turner of Sikeston; seven sisters, Gertrude Harrington, Geneva McClinton, Rose Peet, Mary Baker of Sikeston, Doris Turner of Haywood City, JoAnn Jackson of Chicago and Helen Tate of Harvey, Ill.; and 35 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from noon until service time at 1 p.m. Dec. 27 at the Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston with the Rev. Alex Sims officiating.

Burial will follow in the Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery.

Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
