MORLEY -- Granville Lowell "Boe Hopper" Deshazier, 78, passed away Dec. 16, 2011, at his home in Morley.
He was born Jan. 4, 1933, in Savannah, Tenn., to Lillie Mae Deshazier and "Tone" Worley.
He and Marie Deshazier have been happily together for 50 years. Granville was an original "Plow Boy" and with many talents. He was looked up to by all and loved by all his family and friends. He will be missed dearly.
Survivors include: his loving wife, Marie Dozier Deshazier of Morley; two children, Robert Lowell Deshazier of Cape Girardeau and Rodger Dale Deshazier of Sikeston; two grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn and (Caleb) Shands of Cape Girardeau and Alisha Marie Deshazier of Cape Girardeau; two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Corbyn Shands of Cape Girardeau.
Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, James Hopper of Sikeston, Mabel Armstrong of Sikeston, Berle and Merle Hopper of Morley and Oran, Margaret Green of Oran, Ted Worley of Sikeston, Ann Webb of Sikeston, Betty Underwood of Dexter and Delmar Worley of Hayes, Va.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Lillie Mae Hopper; brothers and sisters, Junior Hopper, Grace Deshazier, Pearl Fowler, Brown Worley and Louis Doris.
He will be laid to rest alongside his mother and family at Morley Cemetery.

A celebration of Granville's life will be held at a later date to be announced.
