CAIRO, Ill. -- Clarence Dean Bryan, 82, formerly of Mississippi County, Mo., died at 10 p.m. Dec. 27, 2011, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Born May 23, 1929, in Anniston, Mo., to the late Donald Blake and Ella Bell Choate Bryan, he lived for the past several years in Cairo where he was a retired construction worker.

He married Ouiva Franklin who preceded him in death.

One son, Gregory Bryan, also preceded him in death.

He is survived by: three daughters, Terri Lynne Bryan, Margaret White and Jana Jennings; one stepdaughter, Judy Hughes; two sisters, Nancy Schneider and Margaret Delaney; and six grandchildren, one stepgranddaughter and one great-stepgranddaughter.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery with his nephew, the Rev. Phillip Schneider, officiating. Full military rites will be conducted by the Missouri Funeral Honors Program.
