Sikeston repeats as St. Dominic Tourney champs

O'FALLON -- For the second straight year, the Sikeston Bulldogs are the champions of the St. Dominic Christmas Tournament.

The top-seeded Bulldogs broke open a close game at the half and defeated the host school, St. Dominic, 64-48 on Friday night.

Sikeston (10-2) led 29-26 at halftime and then pulled in the third quarter, outscoring the Crusaders 20-8 in the frame on their way to the tournament title.

Terry Jamison led the Bulldogs with 16 points to go along with eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals. He was also perfect from the 3-point line, making all four of his attempts. Jamison was named to the all-tournament team along with J.T. Jones and Vashawn Ruffin.

Jones finished with 13 points while Ruffin and Markeith Bratcher both scored nine.
