VIANNEY -- The Sikeston Bulldogs finished third during the Vianney Invitational Tournament on Saturday with three Bulldog wrestlers bringing home gold medals.
Garrick Madison (106), Cody Middleton (126) and Kenton Robinson (138) placed first in their respective classes.
Sikeston coach Seth Harrell was especially proud of Middleton's performance.
"Cody Middleton had a good weekend," Harrell said. "He was really aggressive in all three of his matches. He does such a good job of taking advantage of his opponents mistakes. He is a very smart wrestler."
Austin Henson lost a very close championship match in the final seconds of his bout in the 195-pound division. Jacob Stinnett also placed second.
"Austin Henson continues to wrestle well," said Harrell. "He lost a heart breaker in the final seconds of the championship match.
