BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Patsy Jean Winkelmann, 68, died Dec. 30, 2011, at Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis.
Born June. 3, 1943, in Cairo, to Helen Oliver of Sikeston, Mo., and the late Buster Vaughn, she received a Bachelor of Science from St. Francis University. She was certified in Radiology of SEMO, ARRT and MRI. She held numerous board and committee positions within the societies of radiological technology throughout her career. She was a part-time Realtor for Alexander Realty, Century 21, a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and had served as a Girl Scout leader.
On Nov. 27, 1965, in Sikeston, she married Loren Winkelmann, and he survives.
Other survivors include: four children, Kimbrala (Marty) Payne of Friendswood, Texas, Pamela (Donald) Marshall of Lewisville, Texas, Angela (Jason) Misch of Bartlett and Jason (Tonia Stull) Winkelmann of Bloomington; a brother Emory Oliver of Illinois; a cousin, Bertha Mae Joyce of Sikeston; eight grandchildren; and special friends, Bob and Nancy Veins.
Memorial services were conducted Jan. 6 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Bloomington.
