RISCO -- The Risco Tigers remained undefeated on the season, defeating Campbell 82-43 on Friday night.

Dressing only five varsity players due to injury and a suspension, Risco jumped out to a 20-12 lead after one quarter and led 47-19 at the half.

The Tigers hit 13 3-pointers in the game with Luke Bixler hitting six while scoring a game-high 25 points. Austin White finished with 17 and Jordon Pavy had 11 as each drained three 3-pointers.

"We only had five varsity players dress so we had to bring up some guys," said Risco coach Brandon Blankenship. "Our JV guys filled good minutes for us and played well."

Brandon Bixler came up from the junior varsity to score nine points while Hunter Knight added eight points.

"Hunter Knight had a really good game for us," Blankenship said. "We told him we needed him to step up and he looked to score a lot more tonight."

With the win, Risco improves to 11-0 and 3-0 in the Tri-County Conference. The Tigers played Meridian, Ill., on Saturday. Results can be found in Tuesday's edition of the Standard Democrat.

Risco also won the junior varsity game on Friday, defeating Campbell 62-28. Josh Earnheart scored 22 points while Brandon Bixler had 16 in two quarters of play. Risco is now 3-4 and 2-1 in conference.
