SIKESTON -- Daniel "Red" Baker, 53, died at 9:25 p.m. Jan. 13, 2012, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Oct. 28, 1958, in Winston-Salem, N.C., to the late Walter Baker Sr. and Pauline Gray and lived in Missouri most of his life. He attended Matthew High School.
He is survived by: one son, Jason Baker of Sikeston; two daughters, Tiffan Baker and Cherita Baker of Omaha; two brothers, Nathienal Baker of Sikeston and Sylvester Young of El Paso, Texas; two sisters, Genevia Jenkins of Sikeston and Rosa Wilson of Chicago; five grandchildren; and a special friend, Tracie Morgan of Charleston.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at noon Saturday at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston with the Rev. Andra West officiating.
Burial will follow in Sunset of Memories in Sikeston with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
