BLOOMFIELD -- Jimmie Roach, 74, died Jan. 26, 2012, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Sept. 29, 1937, in Hornersville, son of the late Bob and Sadie Fleeman Roach, he had lived in Bloomfield for 45 years. He worked as a supervisor at Purolator in Dexter, was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the White Oak General Baptist Church near Bernie.
On Jan. 26, 1965, in Nashville, he married Margie Sue Hester who survives of the home.
Also surviving are: one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and July Roach of Bloomfield; one sister, Jane Broadway of Kennett; and one grandchild, Chris Roach.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Graveside services with full military honors will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield. The Rev. M.C. Moore of Dexter will officiate.
