SCOTT CITY -- Johnny Ray Wyatt, 56, died at 10 a.m. Feb. 4, 2012, at his home.
Born Feb. 2, 1956, in Sikeston, to the late Alvie D. and Maggie Ruth Tillman Wyatt, he had worked as a supervisor at Blair Industries and later as a self-employed mechanic and trader. He was of the Catholic belief.
On Nov. 28, 1972, at Sikeston, he married Marian Schaeffer. He later married Karla Scherer in December 1981 in Chaffee.
Survivors include: four sons and a daughter-in-law, Johnny Ray and Jerri Wyatt Jr., Michael Ray Wyatt and Justin Ray Wyatt of Scott City and Charles Cowell of Kelso; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lacie and Jim Griffaw and Sheena and Brian Phipps of Scott City; two sisters, Betty Saulsberry of Sikeston and Dottie Lutes of Morehouse; and 19 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. with Allen Lutes, his nephew, officiating.
Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Brian Phipps, Jim Griffaw, Jason Reddick, Bobby Duncan, John Graham and Neil Pate.
