BLOOMFIELD -- Arlue Cantrell, 79, died Feb. 8, 2012, at her home.
Born Oct. 8, 1932, in Arkansas, to the late William C. and Nellie Mae Bench Martin, she had lived in Bloomfield most of her life. She attended the Bible Tabernacle and had worked at Gateway Shoes before her retirement.
On Feb. 14, 1952, in Arkansas, she married Albert Leon Cantrell who preceded her in death on March 11, 1999.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Edith Mayberry, Fay Johnson and an infant sister, Thelma Louise Martin, and one brother, Louis Martin.
Survivors include: one son, Steve Cantrell of Bloomfield; one daughter, Linda Roberts of Bloomfield; two brothers, W.C. Martin of Dexter and Gaylon Martin of Puxico; two sisters, Vivian Stroup of Marble Hill and Norma Welker of Advance; and two grandchildren, Emilee Walker of Dexter and Stephen Garrett of Bloomfield.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 pm. today at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday with Dudley Hamilton of Morehouse officiating.
Burial will be at the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield.
