Julia Payne

CHAFFEE -- Julia Louise Payne, 78, died Feb. 23, 2012, at her daughter's home.

Born Oct. 7, 1933, in Chaffee, to the late Wesley and Julia Ester Alsobrook Speck, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chaffee.

On May 4, 1956, she married Bob Payne who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Steven Payne of Jackson and Kevin Payne of Chaffee; two daughters, Julia Kirk of Benton and Kimberly Bothel of Chaffee; one sister, Karen Cuzzort of Clinton-Township, Mich.; and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Union Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Bishop officiating.

The Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
