Charleston girls end regular season with win

MARBLE HILL -- The Charleston Lady Bluejays finished their season with a 64-60 comeback win over the Woodland Lady Cardinals on Thursday night at Woodland High School.

"We're trying to work things out around some injuries and I think they played really well," Charleston head coach Josh Thompson said. "We got down 10 at the half and then 14 in the third but we pulled it out by hitting our free throws."

Charleston, who finishes the regular season at 13-10, found themselves looking up at a 34-24 disadvantage at the half. They outscored Woodland 40-26 in the second half.

Kasuela Cooper paced Charleston with 22 points while E'neikqua Ewing scored 16 and Jameisha Hamilton added 12.
