Chaffee boys, girls both advance along with the Oran boys

GREENVILLE -- Chaffee earned a spot in the semifinals with a 57-42 win over Ellington on Saturday afternoon.

Taylor Fodge scored 19 points and Adrienne Eichhorn added 15 for the Lady Devils (6-16), who will face top-seeded Meadow Heights in Monday's 6 p.m. semifinal.

Chaffee used a strong second quarter to build a 26-19 halftime lead and pulled away in the third, outscoring Ellington 13-7 in the frame.

Oran dropped its quarterfinal game 53-36 to Greenville.

On the boys side, Chaffee defeated Ellington 77-53 to move on while Oran downed Meadow Heights 70-37.

Chaffee will take on top-seeded Advance on Tuesday at 6 p.m. while Oran will play Lesterville at 7:45 p.m.
