Blake DeWitt hits home run against Oakland A's

MESA, Ariz. -- The Chicago Cubs' Blake DeWitt hit a three-run homer off Oakland A's starter Bartolo Colon in the second inning of an 8-7 split squad loss on Monday afternoon.

The Sikeston native also scored two runs while serving as the team's designated hitter.

Jeff Baker added two hits, including a double, and scored two runs for Chicago.
