Naylor has ended Delta's season the past two years, defeating the Lady Bobcats in the quarterfinals (42-37) in 2010 and in a sectional (55-50) last season. Naylor hasn't played in two weeks, winning the district as the only high school with a girls team in District 1. The Lady Eagles have no seniors this year and are led by juniors Ericka Engelman and Andrea Sullivan. Naylor also has several developing underclassmen in freshmen Shayna Tharp and Brooklyn Urich along with sophomores Darby Pruett and Charity McCoy... Delta is in the playoffs for the 12th consecutive season and 16th overall after defeating Scott County Central 65-46 in the district championship. They are led in scoring by duo of Machela VanGennip (5-9, jr.) and Tori Burton (5-10, sr.). VanGennip averages just over 16 points while Burton is at 15 points. Injuries have bitten the Lady Bobcats this season but guard Macey Parks (5-5, sr.) returned for Delta in their last game.
